Our client is a rapidly growing DeFi startup building a next-generation SuperApp for crypto. Their mission is to simplify decentralized finance with a self-custodial platform where users can trade, earn, and participate across multiple blockchains - all in one seamless experience.

The Role

They’re looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to take ownership of their mobile app and help deliver world-class crypto experiences. This is a chance to work on cutting-edge DeFi technology, collaborate with an expert team, and make a direct impact on the future of Web3.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a high-quality React Native app.
• Collaborate with product and design to ship intuitive new features.
• Implement and maintain core integrations: APIs, biometrics, push notifications, deep linking, and more.
• Establish best practices and guide the technical direction of the mobile stack.
• Work closely with a globally distributed team of top-tier DeFi builders.

Requirements

Essential Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience with React Native.
• Strong expertise with Expo and React fundamentals.
• Skilled in TypeScript and state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or similar).
• Previous experience building crypto/web3 mobile applications.
• Comfortable with APIs, mobile security, and performance optimization.

Preferred:

• Background in fintech, crypto, or other financial applications.
• Passion for DeFi and the blockchain ecosystem.
