The Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of backend services and application modules from design and architecture through to production launch. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with product and cross-functional teams, influencing both technical direction and product strategy. The position is well-suited to someone who thrives in small, high-impact teams and values significant ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend feature development from design to deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Collaborate with product teams to shape roadmaps and influence implementation decisions
• Conduct technical research and evaluate architecture for scalability, performance, and security
• Deliver robust, reliable, and low-latency services to production
• Drive continuous improvement in backend systems and development practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer
• Strong hands-on expertise in Go (Golang) in production environments
• Experience with Rust (especially in blockchain contexts such as Solana) is a plus
• Proven ability to deliver complex, high-performance systems end-to-end
• Strong product mindset with the ability to contribute to user experience and product direction
• Comfortable working in distributed, cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in Web3, crypto, or AI-driven applications
• Enjoyment of high-growth startup environments and culture
